About the event

From politics and social media to our workplaces and personal relationships, disagreements are inevitable. Can we find ways to disagree productively? Is it worth the effort? While it's important to learn how to disagree in healthy, constructive ways, it's equally important to recognize that not every conflict deserves a conversation. Together with Mauthe program director Robert Pyne, UWGB professors Jennie Young and Ryan Martin will explore how to know when disagreements are worth engaging, and how to approach those interactions with healthy curiosity. They will also discuss ways to disengage when healthy boundaries seem to be the better choice.
