About the event
The Mauthe Center is partnering with the Wisconsin Interfaith Voter Engagement Campaign to bring the Embody Democracy: Community Art Workshop to Green Bay, and we want you there!
Join us on October 20 from 5:30–8:00 PM at the Mauthe Center on the UW-Green Bay campus for an evening of art, civic action, and community. This will be an evening that brings together community members, campus organizations, and local voices to celebrate democracy and build momentum as we approach the fall midterm elections.
The evening will feature a free meal, non-partisan voting resources, and local organizations from both the Green Bay community and UWGB campus, with a hands-on workshop experience that invites participants to explore identity, voice, and civic engagement through art-making and conversation. The art you create will become part of artist Niki Johnson's next large-scale project on what it means to embody democracy.
