Abby Ledvina | Executive Director
Over the past 12 years, I’ve served in numerous roles at the Mauthe Center. My dedication is because of the mission to be inclusive and to bridge people of all walks of life. Fr. Mauthe inspired me years ago to be a more welcoming and compassionate individual in a world that can be divided and controversial. My work at the Center is to make it a place that builds community and uplifts the whole person. We do great work here and I know Fr. Mauthe would be proud to see his legacy live on.

Jaimes Johnson | Director of Community Engagement
The opportunity to connect people to address needs and work together to improve lives is at the heart of my passion. The Mauthe Center gives me that opportunity. Our work to help individuals grow their relationships and community aligns perfectly. Getting up every day knowing that I have a chance to make a difference “that makes a difference” is what inspires me about my work at the Center. I look forward to connecting with you!

Dr. Robert Pyne | Program Director
My role at the Mauthe Center resonates well with my passion for human flourishing and the work I enjoy as an educator and connector. I was a professor for many years, and my academic teaching and writing has focused on religion, sustainable peace, and human rights. I have served on the staff or the board for several non-profit organizations, working primarily in international peace building and refugee integration, and I have led institutional programs to promote environmental sustainability, civic engagement, and socially responsible practices. At the Mauthe Center, my role is to design and host educational programs that create space for curiosity, reflection, and respectful conversation, addressing vital concerns as we seek to move forward together. I often find myself saying, “I really care about this stuff," and I do. I want to see individuals and communities doing enormously well, and I think we can help make that happen.

Paloma Cruz | Lead Student Coordinator
Hi, I’m Paloma Cruz! As the Lead Student Coordinator at The Mauthe Center, I am dedicated to creating welcoming spaces where everyone feels a sense of belonging. I am deeply passionate about social justice initiatives, whether it involves fostering community, sparking meaningful conversations, or empowering others to take action. When I am not working on programs that inspire change, you can find me exploring Green Bay or connecting with peers within my UWGB community. Let’s work together to make a difference!

Bishal Adhikari | Student Coordinator
Hi, I’m Bishal! I’m an Information Technology and Data Science student at UW-Green Bay who loves bringing people and creative ideas together. My goal at The Mauthe Center is to bring cultural communities and student clubs together for fun events where we can share traditions, make friends, and feel at home. Alissa Washington | Technical Communications Student Coordinator
Hello! My name is Alissa Washington and I'm the Technical Communications Student Coordinator at The Mauthe Center. I'm in my Senior Year at UW Green-Bay and my major is Democracy and Justice Studies, with an emphasis in Legal Studies. When I'm not at The Mauthe I'm almost always in my room with a good book or a good TV show. My main focus here at The Mauthe is everything technology based. If you have any questions about live streaming, audio set-up, or any technology you may need for your event I'm your person!

Daisy Villagomez | Marketing Student Coordinator
My name is Daisy Villagomez! I am a Junior here at UWGB studying Democracy and Justice Studies and Political Science. As the Marketing Coordinator at the Mauthe Center. I love being involved on campus, meeting new people, and building community. Being involved in various groups on campus has shown me how meaningful it is to create spaces where people can come together, connect with others, and feel supported. I hope to help create a space here where everyone feels comfortable and supported. Outside of my work at The Mauthe Center, you can find me rock climbing, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.
