June 17, 2024 Webinar #1 — U.S. Refugee Policy and Resettlement: This is the first in a series of webinars, cosponsored by the Mauthe Center, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Green Bay, and Wisconsin Literacy, to help the community better understand the policies and processes supporting refugee resettlement in the United States and in Brown County, Wisconsin. The series is moderated by Dr. Robert Pyne, Program Director at the Mauthe Center.
We will be joined by Dr. Alise Coen, Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Dr. Coen's research explores intersections of human rights, migration, refugees, and U.S. foreign policy at local and global levels.
