In this wide-ranging conversational program, Dr. Angela Bauer, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at Texas Women’s University, will join Dr. Robert Pyne to discuss the influence of outside interests in higher education and research.


Dr. Angela Bauer is Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at Texas Women’s University. Formerly Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs and founding Dean of the Wanek School of Natural Sciences at High Point University, Dr. Bauer also served as chair of Human Biology at UWGB. As a scientific researcher and senior academic administrator, she is well positioned to address contemporary crises in higher education. Dr. Robert Pyne is a former professor of theology, peace studies, and human rights, and serves as Program Director at the Mauthe Center.
