Great Decisions: Ukraine and the Future of European Security

Addressing topics selected by the Foreign Policy Association, the Great Decisions Lecture Series is America's largest discussion program on foreign affairs. The series of six Great Decisions Lectures at the Mauthe Center continues a longstanding collaboration between the University of Wisconsin Green Bay and St. Norbert College, with faculty from both institutions contributing to the selection of speakers and the discussions themselves.

This week's topic is "Ukraine and the Future of European Security." The description from the Foreign Policy Association states, "With reduced U.S. support for NATO and Ukraine, Europe faces strategic uncertainty. The Trump administration has signaled an intention to reduce its security role in Europe. What are America’s stakes in NATO and Europe’s strategic dilemmas, and how might Europe respond?"
