Bridging the Divide, Finding Common Ground

Is it possible to find common ground when it comes to elections and politics? This broadcast event attempts to bridge the divide, helping us understand political polarization and articulate areas of agreement, even between those who have been on opposite sides of the aisle.

Elected as a Republican, JB Van Hollen served as Wisconsin Attorney General from 2007 to 2015. During that same period, from 2000 to 2015, Mike Tate served as the Chair for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. These longtime adversaries have been working together as part of the Democracy Defense Project, restoring public faith in Wisconsin elections.
