GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Rev. Dr. Randy Argall, pastor at the First Presbyterian Church in Green Bay, has been elected President of the Ecumenical Center Board of Directors. Argall ascended to this position after having served as Vice President of the Board.“Pastor Randy brings an incredible wealth of experiences in campus ministry and a deep understanding of social justice issues – one of the cornerstones of our organization” said Hung Nguyen, executive director of the Ecumenical Center. “I look forward to working with him to enhance the Ecumenical Center and protect its legacy for the generations to come,” Nguyen said.

Argall has a Ph. D. in Christian Origins from the University of Iowa.  Prior to coming to Green Bay in 2008, he served on the faculty at Jamestown College in Jamestown, ND.

“I look forward to working with my fellow Board members and the Center’s staff in building the Center’s sustainable future,” said Argall.

Both Argall and Nguyen also shared their appreciation for Jan Malchow, an outgoing Board President. Malchow will continue to serve on the Board.

“Jan has done an excellent job in his role as President and we’ll be delighted to have him continue to serve on the Board,” said Argall.
